Our Team

"As we move toward our goal of being the premier cash flow analysis provider, we continually strive to uphold the traditions of banking while erasing the inefficiencies of current methods"

John C. Howell
Co-Founder

John Howell has been involved in banking for 15 years since graduating from Lyon College with a degree in Economics where he played basketball on a scholarship for 4 years.  His path was laid with legendary Arkansas banker Dan Horton while at First National Bank in Hot Springs.  In 2008 he graduated with a MBA from John Brown University which propelled his career to not only SVP of Commercial Lending at First Western Bank but OREO manager during the economic downturn.  He learned many valuable lessons during these 3 tough years and helped remove the bank from a letter from the regulators. Total assets managed, both performing and non-performing was over $55 Million.

In 2013 he was offered the position of Market President for Delta Trust and Bank in Northwest Arkansas.  He enjoyed this management opportunity and continued to hone his skills as a commercial lender managing more than $40 million in his loan portfolio, which had growth of over $14 Million in less than one year. When Delta Trust and Bank was sold to Simmons, the opportunity arose to be co-founder of Hilborn & Howell, LLC with Thomas Hilborn.

Howell’s goal today is to help banks erase the inefficiencies of current cash flow strategies and be ahead of the curve in regards to regulation on this topic.  He enjoys his family, anything outdoors, good food, and live music. His proudest business achievement in recent years was winning 1st Place as the best Economic Forecaster at the Sam Walton Annual business luncheon in 2014.

Francisco J. Arango

After graduating from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Finance, Mr. Arango followed his dreams of entrepreneurship and enjoyment of life by moving to Hawaii.  His first adventure started with B&B Party Rentals.   It grew to the point where Arango was doing the biggest events in Hawaii, catering to venues up to 60 thousand people. He foresaw and envisioned the need for pivots (business direction change) and executed successfully, making a notable change in the profits sector.

After over 6 years with B&B, Arango took his talents and executive style to Valpack of Hawaii as the Franchise Owner from 2007-2011.  He revamped the franchise and led it from an entity that was losing money, to a profitable one. He achieved several major goals during the tenure at Valpak.  Arango sold it as a Franchise owner in 2011 and stayed on in a sales only capacity at 100% commission for 4 years while he continued to hone his start-up skills.

He started Arango Vacation Rentals and Snapvest in 2012. While the vacation rentals was a side business to generate additional income and meet new people, SnapVest is a stock trading app which helps small investors or busy professionals with extra money get started in trading options.

Arango enjoys his own adventures but also finds it rewarding to help others in the startup community. He has witnessed the pitfalls and lessons in this area and desires to help others in their ventures.
